Rolling Stone now has online the massive (208 citations!) piece by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., "Was the 2004 Election Stolen?" As you might guess, Kennedy's answer is "yes" -- the piece is sub-titled, "Republicans prevented more than 350,000 voters in Ohio from casting ballots or having their votes counted -- enough to have put John Kerry in the White House."

The Tennessee House of Representatives will vote today on the new minimum wage law that will raise the state's minimum wage to $6.15. The bill has also cleared committees in the Senate and a vote there is expected soon.But a funny thing happened on the way to the floor for a vote. Actually, a couple of funny things. Well, not so funny, really.

We're two days out from the Virginia gubernatorial election, and Jerry Kilgore, GOP candidate for governor, has sent out a mass mailing -- to Democrats. It informs them that independent (and former Republican) candidate Russ Potts (as opposed to Democrat Tim Kaine) better fits the "progressive principles" of "Democrat and progressive" voters.The fact that the mailer is "Paid for and Authorized by Virginians for Jerry Kilgore," appears in very, very small type. Political Wire passes along a story from the New York Sun that a "small but influential group of GOP insiders" are urging Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour (R) "to seek the Republican nomination for president in 2008." Apparently, the pro-Barbour chatter is on the rise.
