Thomasi Mcdonald works with youth in Durham, North Carolina. He received the North Carolina Arts Council’s Poetry Fellowship and presented Imperial’s ism, his poetry video on the poultry plant fire in Hamlet, North Carolina, at the MTV Human Rights Watch International Film Festival earlier this year.
