Theodore Rosengarten is a longtime friend of the Institute for Southern Studies and the author of All God's Dangers: The Life of Nate Shaw. (1984)
Theodore Rosengarten’s oral history of Alabama tenant farmer Ned Cobb (Nate Shaw) was published by A.A. Knopf as All God’s Dangers, and won the National Book Award in 1976. Ted now lives in McClellanviIle, South Carolina. (1977)
