Mathé Allain, a native of Morocco, is assistant professor of French at the University of Southwestern Louisiana. Barry Jean Ancelet, a native Louisiana Cajun, is director of folklore and folklife at the Center for Louisiana Studies at the same university. Their Anthologie de la Litterature Frangais de Louisiane, a text covering Louisiana French literature from 1682 to the present, is available from Media Louisiane, P.O. Box 3936, Lafayette, LA 70502. Many of the other anthologies and writers’ works in this issue are also distributed by Media Louisiane.
