May 12, 2006 - One of a pair of Kingbirds that shows up whenever we mow the yard. I guess they are after dead/injured/stirred-up bugs. They show no fear of me or the lawnmower, and will buzz right by my head sometimes. The bluebirds also go into a feeding frenzy when we mow, and there are some martins or swallows of some kind that show up for the feast, and mockingbirds. It's quite an aerial display.

May 5, 2006 - Our nesting pair of bluebirds has been real busy lately, so I thought maybe I should check the box when they weren't around. We have baby bluebirds!
