A quick welcome to the 20,000+ new readers who have come to Facing South this week for our special Voting Rights and Election 2008 coverage.

And to you regulars who keep coming back for more -- thanks to you, too.

It's been quite a week. Our three-person team produced 67 posts since Sunday, reporting on dozens of key voting rights issues and reflecting on what this tide-turning election mean for the South.

Traffic to Facing South has been at a record high -- since Sunday, there have been 46,300 visits to the site. We've done several radio and TV interviews with stations from California to New York, and our coverage has been featured by leading local and national media.

Thank you for reading, and making Facing South such a success.
