Reminder: Voting Rights Hotline
Following up on Sue's excellent post yesterday: the Laywyer's Committee on Civil Rights and other groups have a Voting Rights Hotline to call if ou have any voting problems today:
1-866-OUR-VOTE (1-866-687-8683)
The Institute worked with the Committee to coordinate Election Protection programs in North Carolina in the 2002 and 2004 elections, and they have a great team of knowledgeable staff who can help you with voting problems.
You can use the Voting Rights Hotline to:
-- Find out where you should vote
-- Report suspicious activity at the polls
-- Report a problem you or someone you know has had casting a ballot
-- Find out your rights as a voter, including election statutes in your state
For more information visit the National Campaign for Fair Elections or Election Protection 365.
